Denver Nuggets Name Tenzer, Wallace Executive VPs After Malone, Booth Firings
The Denver Nuggets have restructured their basketball operations following the late-season firings of head coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth. Ben Tenzer has been promoted to executive vice president of basketball operations, having previously served as interim general manager and vice president of basketball operations. The team has also hired Jon Wallace, formerly with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as executive vice president of player personnel. Both Tenzer and Wallace will report directly to team president and governor Josh Kroenke. These moves are part of a broader front office overhaul, which also saw the hiring of David Adelman and interviews with executives from the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors. The Nuggets are aiming to rebuild their leadership structure as they plan for the future.
