Horner's departure from Red Bull ended a highly successful 20-year tenure with eight drivers' titles and six constructors' championships, but his future in F1 remains uncertain. Cadillac officially announced their driver lineup for their 2026 debut season, featuring experienced racers Sergio Pérez, formerly of Red Bull under Horner, and Valtteri Bottas. Despite Horner's strong legacy, Cadillac has made clear they will not pursue him as part of their team leadership. The team is focusing on building its foundation with Lowdon and a strong driver pairing, distancing itself from speculation about Horner’s involvement.
