SpiceJet Flight Delay Sparks Passenger Protest at Delhi Airport

The flight's departure time was repeatedly pushed from the original 1:10 PM to as late as 9:30 PM, with passengers eventually sitting on the floor at the boarding gate and chanting slogans in protest. Vaibhavi Chauhan, a passenger traveling for an important exam, highlighted the challenges posed by the delays, including poor communication and inadequate treatment by airline staff. SpiceJet attributed the delays to operational and safety concerns and stated that passengers were regularly updated. Despite these assurances, many travelers were left anxious about missing critical commitments, with alternative flight options offered being too late for some passengers. The incident underscores ongoing operational issues faced by SpiceJet, raising concerns about the reliability of its services.
