Maharashtra Leader Baba Siddique Murdered in Mumbai

In the aftermath of the murder of Baba Siddique, a senior NCP leader, his son Zeeshan Siddique shared a cryptic message on social media, stating, 'Not all that is hidden sleeps, Nor all that is visible speaks.' Following a meeting with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he was updated on the police investigation, which has so far resulted in nine arrests, with five suspects detained on Friday. Baba Siddique was shot outside his son's office in Bandra on October 12, allegedly by individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Zeeshan has called for justice while appealing against the politicization of his father's death, emphasizing his father's legacy of protecting the vulnerable. Investigations suggest connections to criminal figures, including claims of Baba's association with underworld elements. Additionally, threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan have surfaced, escalating security concerns following the murder.
