Zach Kittley Named FAU Football Head Coach

Zach Kittley has been officially named the head coach of Florida Atlantic University (FAU), taking over from Tom Herman, who was dismissed after a disappointing two-year tenure. Kittley, 33, previously served as the offensive coordinator at Texas Tech, where he led one of the nation’s top offenses, ranking eighth in points per game and tenth in total yards this season. FAU athletic director Brian White praised Kittley’s innovative offensive mind and character, expressing confidence in his ability to develop a championship program. Kittley's coaching history includes successful stints at Houston Baptist and Western Kentucky, and he has worked with notable quarterbacks, including NFL star Patrick Mahomes.
