Kate Bush is back

Kate Bush, the iconic singer-songwriter, has announced her intention to return to music after more than a decade, expressing excitement about creating a new album. At age 66, Bush is riding a wave of renewed interest following her hit 'Running Up That Hill' re-entering the charts in 2022, largely due to its feature in Netflix's 'Stranger Things.' She recently released a short animation titled 'Little Shrew,' aimed at raising awareness for children affected by war, which she began conceptualizing in response to the Ukraine conflict. In interviews, Bush stated that while she has 'lots of ideas' for new music, she hasn’t started recording yet as she has focused on archival work. She envisions any new material as distinct from her previous albums, emphasizing her desire to evolve creatively. Although she is not ready to perform live yet, she feels prepared to embark on this new artistic journey.
