Air Haifa Launches Twice-Weekly Haifa-Rhodes Flights July
Air Haifa, Israel's newest airline, is expanding its international operations with the launch of twice-weekly flights from Haifa International Airport to the Greek island of Rhodes starting July 3, 2025, with one-way fares beginning at $149. This new route marks the airline's fourth international destination, complementing existing flights to Athens, Larnaca in Cyprus, and Eilat. To support this growth, Air Haifa is increasing its pilot roster, integrating experienced captains from France, Finland, Greece, and the Czech Republic who are undergoing certification under the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority. The airline operates ATR 72-600 aircraft and plans to expand its fleet from three to five planes by the end of the year. Additionally, Haifa Airport is upgrading its infrastructure, including the completion of apron renovations and the introduction of duty-free shopping, aimed at enhancing passenger experience and positioning Haifa as a key international gateway. Air Haifa's expansion reflects a strategic effort to strengthen its presence in the Mediterranean region and better serve northern Israeli residents.
