Baldwin's defense had previously leveraged the sudden revelation of the ammunition to secure the dismissal. The judge's original ruling was based on discovery violations and false testimony. If reinstated, the case will focus on Baldwin's responsibility in safely handling the firearm that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
