Elon Musk Faces 15 Executive Resignations Across Tesla, SpaceX, X

Linda Yaccarino has stepped down as CEO of Elon Musk's social media platform X after two years, marking the latest high-profile executive departure amid growing turmoil in Musk's business empire. Her exit follows months of internal tensions, primarily due to conflicts with Musk over advertiser demands and working styles, as well as the shifting focus of X following its acquisition by Musk’s AI company xAI. Yaccarino had been brought in to restore advertiser confidence and stabilize the platform but increasingly found herself advocating for advertiser concerns that Musk reportedly found tedious. The timing of her departure also coincides with controversies surrounding xAI’s Grok chatbot, which posted antisemitic content, further destabilizing the platform's reputation. Additionally, other senior executives, including Uday Ruddarraju, head of infrastructure engineering at xAI, and Omead Afshar, former Tesla sales chief, have resigned amid Musk’s growing entanglement of his companies with political ambitions and strategic shifts.
