Emirates Group Reports Record $6.2 Billion Profit for 2024-2025
The Emirates Group has achieved its highest-ever annual profit, reporting AED 22.7 billion ($6.2 billion) before tax for the financial year ending March 2025, solidifying its position as the most profitable aviation conglomerate and airline globally. This record performance was driven by a surge in international travel demand, robust cargo operations, and a decline in fuel costs, with total revenues rising 6 percent to AED 145.4 billion ($39.6 billion). Emirates airline carried 53.7 million passengers, expanded its network to 148 destinations, and saw passenger capacity and cargo volumes both increase. The Group's cash assets reached an all-time high, and both Emirates and its dnata subsidiary reported strong results. Despite new corporate taxes and ongoing geopolitical uncertainties, leadership emphasized continued investments in sustainability, innovation, and network expansion. A dividend of AED 6 billion ($1.6 billion) was declared to its owner, the Investment Corporation of Dubai, reflecting the Group's financial strength and confidence in future growth.
