Titans Waive Burks, Add Keyton After Injury

The Tennessee Titans have waived wide receiver Treylon Burks after he suffered a fractured collarbone during training camp, ending his tenure with the team. Burks, drafted 18th overall in 2022, struggled with injuries including turf toe, a torn ACL, and concussions, limiting him to 54 catches for 661 yards and one touchdown over three seasons. The move underscores the lopsided outcome of the 2022 trade that sent A.J. Brown to the Eagles, where Brown has become a star and Super Bowl champion. Burks, now 25, is not expected to return to NFL action until at least 2026 due to his latest injury. To strengthen their receiving corps, the Titans have signed Ramel Keyton and now feature veterans Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett, as well as Van Jefferson, Chimere Dike, and Elic Ayomanor. The Titans' receiving unit is deeper, but the failed A.J. Brown trade remains a sore point for the franchise.
