$42M road widening projects begin across Kentucky

Several significant road improvement projects are set to begin soon across various states. In Kentucky, a $4 million safety initiative on U.S. 41 will see the introduction of Restricted Crossing U-Turns (RCUTs) to reduce serious crashes at the Wolf Hills Drive intersection, with work starting March 6 and expected completion by mid-October. Meanwhile, Michigan will commence a $21.9 million project on M-20 for resurfacing and shoulder widening, starting March 17 and anticipated to conclude by November. Colorado's CDOT plans to widen Highway 67 in Woodland Park to enhance capacity and safety, with work beginning March 10. Additionally, a major widening project on Interstate 71 in Northern Kentucky will extend from two to three lanes in each direction, starting March 3, with completion expected by November 2026. These projects aim to improve traffic flow and safety across the respective regions.
