Prince William Documentary Addresses Homelessness

In a new documentary titled "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness," the Prince of Wales reflects on his childhood visits to The Passage, a homelessness charity, with his late mother, Princess Diana. These experiences, which began when he was about 11 years old, profoundly shaped his commitment to combating homelessness. William recalls feeling anxious before the visits but was comforted by Diana's ability to engage and uplift those at the shelter. He has since launched a five-year initiative called Homewards, aiming to demonstrate that it is possible to end homelessness across six key UK locations. The documentary features personal stories from those affected by homelessness and highlights William's long-standing advocacy in this area. The series is set to air on ITV on October 30 and 31, 2024.
