North America Sees Major Multi-State Meth Busts

Law enforcement agencies across North America have recently executed significant methamphetamine seizures in coordinated operations spanning multiple regions. In Alberta, police intercepted a 20 kg meth shipment from Winnipeg to Edmonton, leading to the arrest of two suspects and further seizures of drugs and weapons. California authorities discovered 20 pounds of meth and an unregistered handgun during a traffic stop, resulting in two arrests. Arizona state troopers seized over 400 pounds of meth across several traffic stops, arresting multiple individuals. In North Carolina, two men were arrested after receiving a suspicious package from California containing about three pounds of meth, with additional drugs and a firearm found at the scene. Officials stressed the importance of cross-jurisdictional cooperation in combating organized drug trafficking.
