Two Teenagers Killed in Riverside Crash

A tragic traffic accident in Riverside, CA, early Saturday morning resulted in the deaths of two teenagers and serious injuries to a third. The crash occurred around 5:40 AM when a 17-year-old driving a gray Lexus ran a red light at the intersection of Wood Road and Van Buren Boulevard, colliding with a blue Scion driven by an adult male who had the right of way. The Lexus burst into flames after the collision, leading to the discovery of two deceased individuals inside—an 18-year-old female and the 17-year-old driver. A second 17-year-old male passenger was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. Police suspect that speed, alcohol, and drugs may have contributed to the accident.
