FBI Seeks Arrest of Ryan Wedding in Drug Case
Ryan Wedding, a former Canadian Olympic snowboarder, is facing serious charges for allegedly leading a transnational drug trafficking ring and orchestrating multiple murders. The FBI has issued a wanted notice for Wedding, who is considered armed and dangerous, offering a $50,000 reward for information on his whereabouts. He is accused of shipping hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia through Mexico to the U.S. and Canada, and directing violent acts, including the mistaken identity killings of two innocent individuals in Canada. Wedding is one of 16 individuals indicted, with four still at large, and investigators link his operation to the Sinaloa cartel, which provided protection while he ran his drug empire. His criminal activities reportedly moved around 60 tons of cocaine annually, and he had previously been convicted for drug trafficking in 2010. Wedding’s alleged second-in-command, Andrew Clark, has been arrested in Mexico and is also facing charges.
