Ireland Unveils Five Uncapped Players for Bangladesh Test Tour

Ireland has named a 15-man Test squad for their upcoming tour of Bangladesh, including five uncapped players: Cade Carmichael, Stephen Doheny, Jordan Neill, Liam McCarthy, and leg-spinner Gavin Hoey, who has yet to make his Test debut despite previous call-ups. This squad aims to build on Ireland's momentum following a recent run of three consecutive Test victories and to develop depth in red-ball cricket, with captain Andrew Balbirnie leading the side. The tour will consist of two Tests and three T20 internationals, with experienced players like Paul Stirling and Harry Tector supporting the newcomers. Notably, seamers Mark Adair and Josh Little, recently recovering from injury, will return for the T20 leg but Adair will not play in the Tests as he continues his recovery.
