San Marcos Man Arrested After Thousands of Pills, Cocaine, Weapons Seized

Erik Lee Cadena, 28, was arrested in San Marcos following a police search of his home on Hughson Drive, which was prompted by a tip from a concerned citizen. Authorities seized a significant quantity of drugs, including 846 grams of cocaine, over 2 pounds of raw crystal MDMA, more than 1,400 MDMA pills, nearly 4,000 Adderall pills, 83 pounds of liquid THC, marijuana, ketamine, and LSD. Additionally, the police confiscated 15 firearms, comprising pistols, rifles, shotguns, and multiple high-capacity magazines, although Cadena currently faces no charges related to the weapons. He was charged with five first-degree felony counts of manufacturing or delivering controlled substances exceeding 400 grams. The operation also recovered over $2,800 in cash and luxury items such as a Louis Vuitton backpack, highlighting the breadth of the suspected drug distribution network. The San Marcos Police Department has urged the community to report any suspicious activities to help prevent further drug and weapons trafficking.
