Ghim’s 3-under 68 brought him to 12-under 130, marking his first 36-hole lead in six years on the PGA Tour. Despite his lead, Ghim remains cautious, noting that the eventual winner will likely need to reach around 20-under par. Five players, including defending champion Davis Thompson and six-time PGA Tour winner Max Homa, are within one shot of Ghim, with others like Brian Campbell, David Lipsky, and Emiliano Grillo also close behind. The third round start was moved up due to forecasted rain, and conditions such as dry, crusty greens and wind added challenges for contenders like Homa.
