Sha'Carri Richardson and Grant Fisher Secure Spots in 2024 Paris Olympics

Sha'Carri Richardson secured her spot in the 2024 Paris Olympics by winning the 100-meter final at the U.S. Track and Field Trials with a season-best time of 10.71 seconds, making her the fastest woman in the world this year. Her victory marks a significant comeback after missing the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to a positive marijuana test. Richardson's training partners, Melissa Jefferson and Twanisha Terry, also qualified for the Paris Games. In the men's 10,000 meters, Grant Fisher clinched his Olympic berth with a winning time of 27:49.47, joined by Woody Kincaid and Nico Young. Fisher, who holds the American records in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters, aims to medal in Paris after narrowly missing out in previous competitions.
