Loca Loka Raises $12.5 Million for Global Expansion

Loca Loka, a Singapore-based AlcoBev company co-founded by actor Rana Daggubati, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and entrepreneur Harsha Vadlamudi, has raised $12.5 million from undisclosed investors linked to a Singapore-based family office. This funding will support research and development for new innovations and accelerate the company's global expansion, with plans to enter markets like India, the UK, Dubai, the Philippines, and Indonesia by 2025. The brand, known for its Tequila Blanco and Tequila Reposado, debuted in the US and Southeast Asia in 2024 and aims to redefine the tequila landscape while capitalizing on the growing global tequila market, projected to reach $15.83 billion in 2025. Vadlamudi emphasized that this investment validates their vision and the potential of their brand portfolio, while Daggubati noted the involvement of strategic partners in reshaping the industry. Loca Loka is focused on blending traditional craft with modern innovation to create premium spirits that cater to evolving consumer preferences. The company is also looking to integrate into global travel retail as part of its expansion strategy.
