S'busiso Nkosi, a South African rugby player and 2019 World Cup winner, has been handed a three-year suspension by World Rugby after testing positive for an anabolic steroid. The suspension, effective until July 15, 2027, follows a positive 'A' sample from a May test, marking him as the second member of the 2019 Springboks squad to face a doping ban this year, following fly-half Elton Jantjies' four-year ban in January. The Toyota Cheetahs, Nkosi's current club, expressed their disappointment, highlighting his positive impact on the team. Nkosi, who has had previous mental health challenges, joined the Cheetahs on a one-year contract in March after stints with the Sharks and Bulls. In total, he made 16 international appearances and scored nine tries for South Africa during his career.
