Texas A&M Basketball Tops Rutgers 81-77

In a closely contested game, No. 20 Texas A&M defeated Rutgers 81-77 to secure fifth place in the Players Era Festival Tournament in Las Vegas. Wade Taylor IV led the Aggies with 24 points, while Solomon Washington, Henry Coleman III, and Manny Obaseki each contributed 11 points. Rutgers, bolstered by Ace Bailey's 24 points and 10 rebounds, managed to overcome a halftime deficit and even led by nine points in the second half. However, Texas A&M closed the game with a decisive 27-14 run. Both teams struggled with shooting from beyond the arc, combining for only two three-pointers in the first half.
