Tram Services Disrupted Between Wednesbury Parkway, Wolverhampton Due to Essential Works
West Midlands Metro has announced that there will be no tram service between Wednesbury Parkway and Wolverhampton due to essential maintenance work. Trams will only operate between Wednesbury Parkway and Edgbaston Village, with normal service expected to resume on April 15. Passengers holding Metro season tickets can use West Midlands Railway trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, as well as the National Express bus service 79, which connects Wednesbury bus station to Wolverhampton. The bus timetable has been adjusted to align with tram schedules. Additionally, there will be reduced parking capacity at Priestfield Park and Ride due to equipment storage for ongoing maintenance work. Roadworks in the area may also cause delays for those traveling by car.
