Athletics Honor Henderson, Sacramento with New Patches

The Oakland Athletics announced new jersey patches for the 2025 season to honor their move to Sacramento and commemorate the late baseball legend Rickey Henderson. Fans attending the A's first game at Sutter Health Park on March 31 will receive a trucker hat with the Sacramento patch and a Rickey Henderson rally towel. The team plans to play in Sacramento temporarily before relocating to Las Vegas. The A's are retiring their previous elephant mascot patch to make way for the new designs. Fans can register for tickets to the Opening Day game and a series against the San Francisco Giants, with registration starting on January 22.
