Three Concord-Carlisle Seniors Die in Florida Crash
Three Concord-Carlisle High School seniors from Massachusetts—Jimmy McIntosh, Hannah Wasserman, and Maisey O’Donnell—were killed after their SUV collided with a tractor-trailer making a U-turn on Highway 98 near Panama City, Florida, during spring break. The accident occurred Monday night, resulting in two students dying at the scene and a third passing away in the hospital the next day. One other student remains in critical condition. The tractor-trailer occupants were not injured, and the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Superintendent Laurie Hunter has expressed condolences and announced that grief counseling will be available to students and staff. The Concord and Carlisle communities are deeply affected as students mourn the loss and support services are being emphasized.
