Delco Man Arrested in South Philly Mass Shooting Injuring Eight

Philadelphia police have arrested 22-year-old Nino Dasilvio of Darby, Delaware County, in connection with a mass shooting at the 7 Elements bar and lounge in South Philadelphia on July 5, 2025. The shooting occurred after an argument escalated into a knife fight, during which security guards attempted to intervene, leading to gunfire. Eight people, including a security guard, were injured and all have since recovered. Michael Welton, a 43-year-old security guard who admitted to firing his weapon during the incident, was previously arrested and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. Dasilvio faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, weapons violations, and possessing an instrument of crime. Authorities are still searching for additional suspects, and the 7 Elements bar has had its liquor license revoked following the incident.
