EHang Forms Strategic Partnership with Reignwood Aviation to Expand eVTOL Operations in China, Southeast Asia

EHang Holdings Limited has entered a strategic partnership with Reignwood Aviation Group to advance the deployment of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in China, initially focusing on low-altitude tourism services at key cultural and tourism hubs. The collaboration aims to integrate traditional general aviation with next-generation eVTOL technology to build a three-dimensional urban transportation network, expanding eventually into passenger transportation, aerial logistics, and emergency response. The partnership includes establishing integrated low-altitude service hubs for flight demonstrations, takeoff and landing services, energy supply, and maintenance, as well as developing a digital fleet management platform to support high-density aerial operations. Additionally, they will create the Reignwood-EHang Flight Training Center to address the demand for certified pilots domestically and internationally. International expansion plans focus on Southeast Asian markets, including Bangkok and Phuket, with efforts to secure airworthiness certifications and deploy the EH216-S aircraft. This cooperation aligns with China's national strategy to develop the low-altitude economy and aims to set a global standard for urban air mobility.
