The fast-food chain, which has a storied history dating back to its first location in Corpus Christi, Texas, is also expanding its beverage options with a new Mexican Hot Chocolate Coffee and Shake. Fans have expressed their desire for these items on social media, prompting the company to tap into its 'WhataVault' for more nostalgic offerings throughout the year. In addition to menu updates, Whataburger is offering $19.50 merchandise deals as part of its anniversary celebrations. Company President & CEO Debbie Stroud emphasized the importance of honoring their loyal fans during this milestone. The celebration comes at a significant time for Whataburger, following the retirement of CEO Ed Nelson after its acquisition by BDT Capital Partners.
