Halsey Undergoes Chemo, Readies Back to Badlands Tour

On Sept. 25 Halsey posted a TikTok saying she has recently had additional chemotherapy sessions and a new port placed as part of treatment for a rare T‑cell lymphoproliferative disorder; she previously disclosed diagnoses of that disorder and lupus in 2024. She described significant post‑treatment fatigue, saying she often can’t stand for a week or more and that fans typically see her during intermittent windows of higher energy. Despite the treatments, she is moving forward with plans for her Back to Badlands tour: rehearsals begin soon and she intends to perform the entire Badlands album plus additional songs. Halsey said she is managing these chronic health issues with the help of doctors and support from her partner, Avan Jogia, while balancing a busy schedule that includes her upcoming birthday.
