Searchlight Pictures has released the first trailer for 'Nightbitch,' a darkly comedic horror film starring Amy Adams, set to premiere in theaters on December 6 following its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Marielle Heller and based on Rachel Yoder’s 2021 novel, the film follows a suburban mother (Adams) who begins to believe she is turning into a dog as she copes with the stresses of motherhood. The cast includes Scoot McNairy, Mary Holland, Jessica Harper, and Zoë Chao. Initially planned for a streaming release, the film will now see a wide theatrical release.
