CVR Partners Reports Strong Q4, Full-Year Financial Results

CVR Partners LP reported its fourth quarter 2024 earnings, showing a net income of $18 million, or $1.73 per common unit, compared to $10 million in the same quarter last year. The company achieved EBITDA of $50 million on net sales of $140 million, marking a positive shift from the previous year’s $38 million EBITDA and $142 million in sales. For the full year 2024, net income decreased to $61 million from $172 million in 2023, with total net sales dropping to $525 million from $681 million. Despite these challenges, CVR Partners maintained a high ammonia utilization rate of 96% and declared a cash distribution of $1.75 per common unit for the fourth quarter. Management expressed optimism about the nitrogen fertilizer market dynamics, anticipating continued demand and favorable pricing as the spring planting season approaches. Looking ahead, the company aims to focus on maintaining high plant utilization rates and generating free cash flow.
