Applegate noted the challenges of living with an 'invisible disease,' where outward appearances may not reflect the internal struggles faced by those affected. Alongside co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler and guest Rory Kandel, Applegate shared that some days the pain is so debilitating that she feels confined to bed. She humorously remarked on the pain that makes even walking to the bathroom a struggle, joking about needing a diaper.
