Live Nation Commits $1 Million for LA Music Workers

Live Nation and its Crew Nation Global Relief Fund have committed $1 million to assist those in the music community affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. The fund will open applications for grants of up to $5,000 for individuals employed in the entertainment sector facing displacement due to the fires. Live Nation's President and CEO, Michael Rapino, emphasized the importance of supporting the hardworking community in L.A. as part of their mission. Additionally, Live Nation is promoting a benefit concert on January 30 featuring various top artists to raise funds for wildfire recovery efforts. The Crew Nation fund, established in 2020, has previously aided over 16,000 crew members globally, highlighting its ongoing support for the music industry during unforeseen challenges. The Weeknd also contributed $1 million to the wildfire relief efforts following the postponement of his album and concert out of respect for the victims.
