Raiders' Brock Bowers Doubtful for Chiefs Game Amid Knee Injury Setback

Las Vegas Raiders star tight end Brock Bowers, who had an outstanding rookie season in 2024 with record receptions and Pro Bowl honors, has been sidelined due to a knee injury since Week 5 of the 2025 season. Despite returning to limited practice before the Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Bowers was declared doubtful and ultimately did not play, as the Raiders prioritized his recovery given their upcoming Week 8 bye. The injury involves a PCL issue and a bone bruise sustained early in the season, which Bowers initially played through before the team decided to rest him. Raiders head coach Pete Carroll was noncommittal about Bowers' participation against the Chiefs, reflecting the cautious approach taken.
