Roberto Firmino has transferred from Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli to Qatar's Al Sadd on a two-year deal, marking a new chapter in his career after two successful years in the Saudi Pro League. During his tenure at Al-Ahli, Firmino scored 21 goals and provided 17 assists in 65 appearances, playing a key role in their 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Elite victory, where he also earned the MVP award. Despite being frozen out of Al-Ahli’s league squad midway through the last season, he remained influential in the Asian Champions League campaign, assisting in their continental triumph. Firmino's move to Al Sadd, Qatar’s most decorated club, keeps him in the Middle East under coach Felix Sanchez, aiming to continue his success.
