FireAid Concert Raises Funds for Wildfire Recovery, Features Major Artists

The FireAid benefit concert, scheduled for January 30 at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Los Angeles, aims to raise funds for communities affected by recent wildfires. Featuring prominent artists like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Stevie Wonder, the event will be streamed live on various platforms including Apple Music and Netflix, with 100% of ticket proceeds going to relief efforts. The concert is backed by organizations such as the Annenberg Foundation, which will oversee the distribution of contributions for immediate and long-term fire recovery initiatives. In addition to the concert, significant donations have been made by companies like Amazon, which pledged $10 million to support multiple relief efforts. Live Nation is also contributing through its Crew Nation fund to assist music industry workers impacted by the disasters. The concert is part of a broader response to the wildfires that have displaced thousands and caused extensive damage in the Los Angeles area.
