Adam Britton, a former BBC zoologist and crocodile expert, has been sentenced to 10 years and five months in prison for the rape, torture, and killing of dozens of dogs in Australia. Britton, who worked with David Attenborough, pleaded guilty to 56 charges related to animal cruelty and bestiality, as well as possessing and transmitting child abuse material. His crimes, which began in 2014 and continued until his arrest in April 2022, were described by Chief Justice Michael Grant as 'inconceivable depravity' involving 'grotesque cruelty.'
