The New England Patriots have announced the construction of a new, football-exclusive training facility adjacent to Gillette Stadium, set to open in spring 2026. The three-story building will significantly expand the team's operational space, incorporating amenities such as a nutrition center, expanded weight rooms, hydro-focused training rooms, and a players lounge. Designed by the architectural firm Populous, the facility aims to enhance the player experience and support team operations, responding to previous criticism from players regarding their working conditions. The main floor will cater to daily activities, while the upper level will serve as a space for meetings and film study. The project underscores the team's commitment to improving facilities after receiving a D-plus grade in the NFLPA’s report card last year. The construction is being managed by Suffolk Construction, building on their recent work at the stadium.
