Bronx Hit-and-Run, Stabbing Kill Two Men in Fordham, Morrisania

Two separate deadly incidents occurred in the Bronx recently. In Fordham, a 31-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds near East Fordham Rd. and Webster Ave. and later died at St. Barnabas Hospital; police have not yet made any arrests and the investigation is ongoing. In a different incident in Morrisania, a 43-year-old man named Kelvin Mitchell was fatally struck by a black Mercedes-Benz while crossing Webster Avenue near East 168th Street; the driver fled the scene, and despite EMS efforts, Mitchell succumbed to his injuries at Lincoln Hospital. Authorities are actively searching for the hit-and-run driver and reviewing surveillance footage, urging anyone with information to come forward. Both victims' names have been withheld pending family notification, and police continue investigations into both cases.
