Fatal and Critical Traffic Accidents Involving Children

Tragic traffic incidents involving young children occurred recently in Coimbatore, Lowell, and Newark. In Coimbatore, a 28-year-old woman and her one-year-old son were fatally run over by a truck after a motorcycle collision caused them to fall onto the road. In Lowell, a 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after being struck by a truck near a daycare; the incident happened when she ran into the street behind her mother’s vehicle. The truck driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Meanwhile, in Newark, a 6-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle near a medical facility but is in stable condition, with the driver also cooperating with authorities. These incidents highlight the importance of vigilance in areas with heavy pedestrian traffic.
