Avicii Forever Compilation Featuring New Track Launches May 16

A new Avicii compilation album titled 'Avicii Forever' will be released on May 16 by Interscope Records, Pophouse, and the Avicii Estate, featuring 19 tracks from the late Swedish DJ's career, including major hits like 'Wake Me Up,' 'Levels,' and 'Hey Brother.' The album introduces a previously unreleased single, 'Let’s Ride Away,' featuring Elle King, which blends folk and electronic influences and was completed posthumously by longtime collaborator Carl Falk. The track was originally co-written with Kacey Musgraves, and leaked versions have circulated online under the title 'Ride Away.' This release follows other recent projects honoring Avicii, such as the Netflix documentaries 'I’m Tim' and his last live show film, a photo book, and the posthumous album 'Tim.' The compilation also highlights Avicii's influential collaborations with artists like Coldplay's Chris Martin, Imagine Dragons, and Aloe Blacc, as well as his significant impact on electronic dance music and popular culture. Avicii, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 28, remains celebrated for his genre-defying sound and global legacy.
