Yellowstone Creator Taylor Sheridan Purchases Fort Worth Cattlemen’s Steak House, Plans Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
Taylor Sheridan, creator of the hit series "Yellowstone," and his business partners have purchased the historic Cattlemen’s Steak House in Fort Worth's Stockyards district, a restaurant operating since 1947. They are investing millions in renovations that will enhance the food and wine offerings, add new dining and bar spaces, an outdoor patio with a live music stage, and event areas, while preserving the restaurant’s iconic character and core menu. Sheridan emphasizes Fort Worth's significance as the birthplace of the cattle business and envisions the steakhouse as a gathering place that celebrates the city's heritage and future. A new feature, the Cattlemen’s Club, will be a members-only dining and social club with a 130-seat capacity, requiring a $1,000 initiation fee and $3,000 annual membership, with corporate memberships also available. Sheridan’s Four Sixes Ranch, which he acquired in 2022, supplies beef to the steakhouse, linking his ranching and restaurant ventures. This acquisition continues Sheridan’s expanding investments in Texas, complementing his entertainment empire and other business interests in ranching, hospitality, and beverages.
