Gwalior to Host First T20I Against Bangladesh

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has relocated the first T20 International match between India and Bangladesh from Dharamsala to the newly renovated Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior, scheduled for October 6. This match marks the return of international cricket to Gwalior for the first time since Sachin Tendulkar's historic double century in 2010. The stadium, which has a capacity of 30,000 and includes nine playing pitches and various modern facilities, is set to host its inaugural international fixture. The change in venue occurred due to ongoing renovations at the Dharamsala stadium. Additionally, the BCCI announced a swap of venues for upcoming T20Is against England, with Chennai and Kolkata exchanging hosting responsibilities.
