Hong Kong Police Arrest Man for 13 Burglaries

The suspect, who faces 12 burglary charges and one attempted burglary charge, was apprehended after a thorough investigation that involved analyzing CCTV footage and monitoring his activities around a public housing area where he stored stolen items. Police reported that the man operated alone, breaking in during early morning hours using tools to forcibly enter and steal cash and electronics. Separately, a 22-year-old man was arrested for six burglaries in Sha Tin, including thefts from local schools and a sports ground, with goods valued at HK$25,000 recovered. Authorities are urging the community to enhance security measures as they boost patrols in response to these crimes. Both suspects are currently in custody, with court appearances scheduled imminently.
