Two Children Shot in Separate Incidents in West Philadelphia

Two young children were injured in separate shootings in West Philadelphia on Monday afternoon. A 2-year-old boy was critically wounded after being shot in the abdomen inside a home on Delancey Street, with initial reports indicating the injury may have been accidental. Hours later, a 5- or 6-year-old girl was shot while sitting on the porch of a home on Pine Street and is currently in stable condition. Police have not made any arrests in either case, and investigations into the motives are ongoing.
