New England Revolution Signs Defender Brayan Ceballos

The New England Revolution have signed Colombian center-back Brayan Ceballos from Brazilian club Fortaleza to strengthen their defense after conceding a league-high 74 goals in the 2024 season. Ceballos, 23, has agreed to a three-year contract through 2027, with an option for 2028, utilizing Targeted Allocation Money. Sporting Director Curt Onalfo expressed confidence in Ceballos' potential to improve the team's defensive record, while head coach Caleb Porter highlighted his athleticism and composure on the ball as key attributes for success in MLS.
