Coachella Valley Invitational Set to Host Largest Preseason Soccer Event in North America

The 2025 Coachella Valley Invitational, a major pre-season soccer event, will take place from February 5 to 15 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, featuring 14 clubs from Major League Soccer and six from the National Women’s Soccer League. This event is being touted as the largest professional soccer preseason event in North America, allowing fans to watch their favorite teams compete for free via various streaming platforms. New York City FC has announced plans to broadcast all four of their matches during the Invitational on their website and local TV, with coverage provided by the team's radio announcer Glenn Crooks. Austin FC will also stream their matches against LA Galaxy and St. Louis City SC live on their website. Additionally, St. Louis CITY SC has partnered with Matrix Midwest to air three of their pre-season matches for free, enhancing local fan engagement ahead of the 2025 season. The matches will serve as critical preparation for the upcoming soccer season, officially starting on February 22.
