Colgate Upsets Boston University for Patriot League Lacrosse Title

Colgate University's men's lacrosse team, seeded fifth, upset top-seeded Army West Point and second-seeded Boston University to capture the 2025 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship, earning an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. In the semifinal, Colgate's Matt LaCombe broke the Patriot League Tournament record with 24 saves, while Liam and Rory Connor combined for 15 points to defeat Army 16-13.
