Drunk Driver Crashes Into Caledonia School

A 23-year-old Racine man was arrested after crashing his vehicle into Olympia Brown Elementary School in Caledonia around 2 a.m., damaging two classrooms. Police responded to reports of a loud noise and found that the car had smashed through an exterior wall. Alcohol and speed were confirmed as contributing factors in the single-vehicle crash. The suspect was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated and also faces additional violations. No injuries were reported, but the crash caused significant structural damage to the school. Local authorities are continuing their investigation.
